Developer Inefficiencies
Developers may only spend 52 mins a day on coding 🤯 How many hours do you write code everyday? (CodeTime)
Although Software.com surveyed 250K+ developers, it is hard to digest the numbers stated in this report. In an analysis by Aaron Hurst, it appears developers are inundated with repetitive administrative and security tasks that distract from coding. Organizations are urged to double down on developer experience efforts to improve inefficiencies.
A survey taken by Armory.io revealed software deployment still remains a large part of inefficiency in developer workflows. How is this impacting your team?
Tests vs Delivery

Want delivery faster? Your tests have the last word (infoq)
Every test requires effort to be developed and maintained but not every test adds value. It is better to not write a test at all than to write a bad test.
